Do you find it harder every year, trying to figure out Easter basket ideas for your tweens and teens? It seems as they grow older, it’s not quite as easy to impress them.

Gone are the days of toddler squeals of delight with a new stuffed animal, brightly colored plastic filled eggs, and chocolate bunnies all nestled in grass filled baskets left by the Easter Bunny. Now it seems to be more challenging, not to mention more expensive, to come up with ideas for Easter baskets…especially for my boys.

Here’s a list of ideas for those Easter basket stuffers for your teenagers, tweens, or just those kids that are “too cool” for cute bunnies and chicks! And you don’t have to break the bank to get creative! Pick a theme below, or a color, add few non-candy gift ideas your teen can use and enjoy, some of their favorite candy or chocolate, and voila!

And don’t be afraid to keep some traditional Easter basket stuffers, just for the nostalgia. You might be surprised one day when your teens are grown and flown just how much they remember and appreciate getting that same special treat year after year! Even if it draws the eye roll and sarcastic comment this Easter!

Easter Baskets For Teen and Tween Boys

For Your Artist…

Upgrade those kid crayons and markers and get your teen some “grown up” art supplies! Try a sketch pad and drawing pencils, or even blank comic book templates.

For Your Lego Lover…

If your boys are like mine, they still love LEGO! Small themed LEGO kits are perfect for filling a teen’s Easter Basket. These LEGO BrickHeadz become next years fun DIY decorations!

For Your Gamer…

Gift cards for their favorite gaming system (PlayStation, XBox) or specific games (Fortnite), even iTunes gift cards are always popular with teens. Or if you’re like me, and struggle with buying “virtual” gifts, try a cheeky t-shirt, or a gamer alarm clock to help your teen get out of bed on school days!

For Your Movie Lover…

Buy a gift card for your local movie theater, add in some microwave popcorn and favorite candy.

For Your Young Man…

If you’ve got teenage boys in the house, grooming can become a whole other hobby (or at least you hope it does)! Shower gel, deodorant, body spray, hair gel, and of course, shaving and all the accessories.

For Your Book Lover…

Well, maybe “Book Lover” is too strong, especially if your boys are not so much. You can try to entice them to read with some fun and interesting books like The Manual To Manhood, Do Hard Things, or The Totally Awesome Book of Useless Information

More Fun Easter Basket Ideas for Boys

Nothing says boy like the “gross” factor! As they grow up, this doesn’t seem to diminish in the least! So have some fun by adding “gross” stuffers to their Easter baskets, and you’ll definitely be the cool mom! Try Farting Poop Emoji Pens, That’s Gross book, or Bunny Snot!

They may not be little anymore, but that doesn’t mean Easter has to be any less fun. Armed with these ideas for Easter baskets for your teen or tween boy, you’ll be sure to get smiles and high fives this Easter…providing you can get them out of bed in the morning!
